Function

The machine is normally started by a superior control system.

The strap is fully or partially fed into the strap guide system.

When the start signal is received strap feeding is completed.

The strap head moves towards the bundle/package and the end of the strap is clamped at the same time.

The strap is stretched. The floating strap head suspension in combination with the stretching tension provides optimal strap stretching.

When the strap is fully stretched around the bundle the sealing unit makes three pairs of punches and the strap is cut.

Finally, a fourth pair of safety punches is made.

The machine head then returns to its start position and a signal is sent to the superior control system indicating that the bundle/package can be moved.

(The function description above can vary in some respects depending on machine model.)
