Function

The machine is normally started by a superior control system.

The strap is fully or partially fed into the strap guide system.

When the start signal is received strap feeding is completed.

The end of the strap is clamped and the strap coil at same time as the strap head moves towards the strip coil.

When the strap is fully stretched around the strip coil the sealing unit makes three pairs of punches and the strap is cut.

Finally, a fourth pair of safety punches is made.

The machine head then returns to its start position and a signal is sent to the superior control system indicating that the strip coil can be moved.

(The function description above applies to a machine in a fixed position in the roll line, i.e. function can vary in some respects depending on machine model.)
