박찬호, 2이닝 무실점 호투…평균자책 4점대 하락

'코리안 특급' 박찬호(37·피츠버그)가 2이닝 무실점으로 호투하며 전날 부진을 만회했다.

박찬호는 25일(한국시각) 미국 피츠버그 PNC파크에서 벌어진 메이저리그 내셔널리그 휴스턴 애스트로스와의 홈 경기서 구원 등판해 2이닝 무실점으로 막아냈다. 평균 자책점에서는 4.99(종전 5.14)로 떨어뜨렸다.

팀이 6-8로 뒤진 7회초에 등판한 박찬호는 첫 타자 험베르토 퀸테로를 커브를 구사해 1루 땅볼로 처리했다. 이어 브렛 월라스는 변화구로 삼진으로 돌려세웠다. 2사 이후 대타서 나선 앤더슨 헤르난데스도 1루 땅볼로 잡아냈다.

박찬호는 8회초에서도 마운드에 올라 제이슨 버지아를 1루 땅볼로 아웃 시켰다. 이후 앙헬 산체스는 2루 땅볼, 헌터 펜스는 유격수 땅볼로 처리하고 깔끔하게 이닝을 마무리 했다.
