East Gate Tower (dōng mén chéng lóu 东门城楼), also called East Tower (dōng lóu 东楼), is located by the Liujiang River (liǔ jiāng 柳江) in Liuzhou City (liǔ zhōu shì 柳州市). It was first constructed in Ming Dynasty (míng cháo 明朝), with a history of more than 600 years. It is the best preserved ancient gate in Liuzhou.
