Mogan Mountain (mò gàn shān 莫干山) is located in Deqing County (dé qīng xiàn 德清县), Huzhou City (hú zhōu shì 湖州市), Zhejiang Province (zhè jiāng shěng 浙江省). It is in the center of beautiful and affluent Golden Triangle Hu (hù 沪), Ning (níng 宁), Hang (háng 杭). Mogan Mountain is National Scenic Spot and was listed as one of the 'Four Best Summer Resorts in China', the others are Beidaihe (běi dài hé 北戴河), Lushan Mountain (lú shān 庐山), Jigong Mountain (jī gōng shān 鸡公山). In the Spring and Autumn Period (chūn qiū shí qī 春秋时期) a couple named Gan Jiang (gàn jiāng 干将) and Mo Ye (mò yé 莫邪), who were expert sword makers, were asked by the Emperor of Wu to make their best sword in three months. They made the unique sword here, so the mountain got its name. Mogan Mountain enjoys the reputation of "the pleasantly cool world".
