중국 Yellow Dragon Cave 黄龙洞
Zhejiang, China

The Yellow Dragon Cave (huáng lóng dòng 黄龙洞) is located in the rear of Qixia Hill (qī xiá shān 栖霞山) in Hangzhou City (háng zhōu shì 杭州市), Zhejiang Province (zhè jiāng shěng 浙江省). It is also called Wumen Cave (wú mén dòng 无门洞), Feilong Cave (fēi lóng dòng 飞龙洞). There is a legend about the cave, a monk named Huikai (huì kāi 慧开) in the Southern Song Dynasty (nán sòng 南宋) came to the site and decided to build a temple and expound the Buddhism. One day, a yellow dragon suddenly appeared and hit the ground. Then the place miraculously turned out to be what we see today. Although called "cave", it is actually a simple and elegant yard. Now Yellow Dragon Cave Dressed in Green (huáng lóng tǔ cuì 黄龙吐翠) was listed as one of the New Ten Scenic Spots of West Lake (xī hú 西湖). In 2001 and 2002, Yellow Dragon Cave was awarded as the best park in Hanghzou City.
