비둘기강(江)의 외진 곳에서
그녀는 살았습니다.
치켜주는 사람도
사랑해 주는 이도 없는 처녀였지요.

눈길이 안 닿는 이끼 낀 바위틈에
피어 있는 한떨기 오랑캐꽃 !
샛별이 홀로 빛날 때처럼
그렇게 그녀는 아름다왔지요.

이름없이 살다가 죽었을 때
그것을 안 사람은 있는 둥 마는 둥.
이제 그녀는 무덤 속에 누웠으니
아 ! 크나큰 이 내 허전함이여 !
