창03:16-20 16 또 여자에게 이르시되 내가 네게 잉태하는 고통을 크게 더하리니 네가 수고하고 자식을 낳을 것이며 너는 남편을 사모하고 남편은 너를 다스릴 것이니라 하시고 17 아담에게 이르시되 네가 네 아내의 말을 듣고 내가 너더러 먹지 말라 한 나무 실과를 먹었은즉 땅은 너로 인하여 저주를 받고 너는 종신토록 수고하여야 그 소산을 먹으리라 18 땅이 네게 가시덤불과 엉겅퀴를 낼 것이라 너의 먹을 것은 밭의 채소인즉 19 네가 얼굴에 땀이 흘러야 식물을 먹고 필경은 흙으로 돌아 가리니 그 속에서 네가 취함을 입었음이라 너는 흙이니 흙으로 돌아갈 것이니라 하시니라 20 아담이 그 아내를 하와라 이름하였으니 그는 모든 산 자의 어미가 됨이더라 

16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire [shall be] to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.  17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed [is] the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat [of] it all the days of thy life; 18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;  19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou [art], and unto dust shalt thou return. 20 And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.  

16 又对女人说：我必多多加增你怀胎的苦楚；你生产儿女必多受苦楚。你必恋慕你丈夫；你丈夫必管辖你。 17 又对亚当说：你既听从妻子的话，吃了我所吩咐你不可吃的那树上的果子，地必为你的缘故受咒诅；你必终身劳苦才能从地里得吃的。 18 地必给你长出荆棘和蒺藜来；你也要吃田间的菜蔬。 19 你必汗流满面才得糊口，直到你归了土，因为你是从土而出的。你本是尘土，仍要归於尘土。 20 亚当给他妻子起名叫夏娃，因为他是众生之母。 

16 女にはこう 仰せられた． 「わたしは， あなたのみごもりの 苦しみを 大いに 增す． あなたは， 苦しんで 子を 産まなければならない． しかも， あなたは 夫を 戀い 慕うが， 彼は， あなたを 支配することになる． 」 17 また， アダム に 仰せられた． 「あなたが， 妻の 聲に 聞き 從い， 食べてはならないとわたしが 命じておいた 木から 食べたので， 土地は， あなたのゆえにのろわれてしまった． あなたは， 一生， 苦しんで 食を 得なければならない． 18 土地は， あなたのために， いばらとあざみを 生えさせ， あなたは， 野の 草を 食べなければならない． 19 あなたは， 顔に 汗を 流して 糧を 得， ついに， あなたは 土に 歸る． あなたはそこから 取られたのだから． あなたはちりだから， ちりに 歸らなければならない． 」 20 さて， 人は， その 妻の 名を エバ と 呼んだ． それは， 彼女がすべて 生きているものの 母であったからである． 

16 A la mujer dijo: Multiplicaré en  gran manera los dolores en tus preñeces; con dolor darás a luz los hijos; y  tu deseo será para tu marido, y él se enseñoreará de ti. 17 Y al hombre dijo: Por cuanto  obedeciste a la voz de tu mujer, y comiste del árbol de que te mandé  diciendo: No comerás de él; maldita será la tierra por tu causa; con dolor  comerás de ella todos los días de tu vida. 18 Espinos y cardos te producirá, y  comerás plantas del campo. 19 Con el sudor de tu rostro comerás  el pan hasta que vuelvas a la tierra, porque de ella fuiste tomado; pues  polvo eres, y al polvo volverás. 20 Y llamó Adán el nombre de su mujer,  Eva, por cuanto ella era madre de todos los vivientes.
