시 60:1 For the director of music. To the tune of"The Lily of the Covenant." A miktam of David. For teaching. When he fought Aram Naharaim and Aram Zobah, and when Joab returned and struck down twelve thousand Edomites in the Val ley of Salt. You have rejected us, O God, and burst forth upon us; you have been angry--now restore us! 시 60:2 You have shaken the land and torn it open; mend its fractures, for it is quaking. 시 60:3 You have shown your people desperate times; you have given us wine that makes us stagger. 시 60:4 But for those who fear you, you have raised a banner to be unfurled against the bow. Selah 시 60:5 Save us and help us with your right hand, that those you love may be delivered. 시 60:6 God has spoken from his sanctuary: "In triumph I will parcel out Shechem and measure off the Valley of Suc coth. 시 60:7 Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine; Ephraim is my helmet, Judah my scepter. 시 60:8 Moab is my washbasin, upon Edom I toss my sandal; over Philistia I shout in triumph." 시 60:9 Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom? 시 60:10 Is it not you, O God, you who have rejected us and no longer go out with our armies? 시 60:11 Give us aid against the enemy, for the help of man is worthless. 시 60:12 With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies. Selah 시 61:5 For you have heard my vows, O God; you have given me the heritage of those who fear your name. 시 61:6 Increase the days of the king's life, his years for many generations. 시 61:7 May he be enthroned in God's presence forever; appoint your love and faithfulness to protect him. 시 61:8 Then will I ever sing praise to your name and fulfill my vows day after day. My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him. 시 62:2 He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken. 시 62:3 How long will you assault a man? Would all of you throw him down--this leaning wall, this tottering fence? 시 62:4 They fully intend to topple him from his lofty place; they take delight in lies. With their mouths they bless, but in their hearts they curse. Selah 시 62:5 Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him. 시 62:6 He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. 시 62:7 My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. 시 62:8 Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge. Selah 시 62:9 Lowborn men are but a breath, the highborn are but a lie; if weighed on a balance, they are nothing; together t hey are only a breath. 시 62:10 Do not trust in extortion or take pride in stolen goods; though your riches increase, do not set your heart on them. 시 62:11 One thing God has spoken, two things have I heard: that you, O God, are strong, 시 62:12 and that you, O Lord, are loving. O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thir sts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. 시 63:2 I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. 시 63:3 Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. 시 63:4 I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands. 시 63:5 My soul will be satisfied as with the richest of foods; with singing lips my mouth will praise you. 시 63:6 On my bed I remember you; I think of you through the watches of the night. 시 63:7 Because you are my help, I sing in the shadow of your wings. 시 63:8 My soul clings to you; your right hand upholds me. 시 63:9 They who seek my life will be destroyed; they will go down to the depths of the earth. 시 63:10 They will be given over to the sword and become food for jackals. 시 63:11 But the king will rejoice in God; all who swear by God's name will praise him, while the mouths of liars will be silenced. 시 64:1 For the director of music. A psalm of David. Hear me, O God, as I voice my complaint; protect my life from the threat of the enemy. 시 64:2 Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked, from that noisy crowd of evildoers. 시 64:3 They sharpen their tongues like swords and aim their words like deadly arrows. 시 64:4 They shoot from ambush at the innocent man; they shoot at him suddenly, without fear. 시 64:5 They encourage each other in evil plans, they talk about hiding their snares; they say, "Who will see them ?" 시 64:6 They plot injustice and say, "We have devised a perfect plan!" Surely the mind and heart of man are c unning. 시 64:7 But God will shoot them with arrows; suddenly they will be struck down. 시 64:8 He will turn their own tongues against them and bring them to ruin; all who see them will shake their heads in scorn. 시 64:9 All mankind will fear; they will proclaim the works of God and ponder what he has done. 시 64:10 Let the righteous rejoice in the LORD and take refuge in him; let all the upright in heart praise him! Praise awaits you, O God, in Zion; to you our vows will be fulfilled. 시 65:2 O you who hear prayer, to you all men will come. 시 65:3 When we were overwhelmed by sins, you forgave our transgressions. 시 65:4 Blessed are those you choose and bring near to live in your courts! We are filled with the good things of your house, of your holy temple. 시 65:5 You answer us with awesome deeds of righteousness, O God our Savior, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest seas, 시 65:6 who formed the mountains by your power, having armed yourself with strength, 시 65:7 who stilled the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, and the turmoil of the nations. 시 65:8 Those living far away fear your wonders; where morning dawns and evening fades you call forth songs of joy. 시 65:9 You care for the land and water it; you enrich it abundantly. The streams of God are filled with water to provi de the people with grain, for so you have ordained it. 시 65:10 You drench its furrows and level its ridges; you soften it with showers and bless its crops. 시 65:11 You crown the year with your bounty, and your carts overflow with abundance. 시 65:12 The grasslands of the desert overflow; the hills are clothed with gladness. 시 65:13 The meadows are covered with flocks and the valleys are mantled with grain; they shout for joy and sing. Shout with joy to God, all the earth! 시 66:2 Sing the glory of his name; make his praise glorious! 시 66:3 Say to God, "How awesome are your deeds! So great is your power that your enemies cringe before you. 시 66:4 All the earth bows down to you; they sing praise to you, they sing praise to your name." Selah 시 66:5 Come and see what God has done, how awesome his works in man's behalf! 시 66:6 He turned the sea into dry land, they passed through the waters on foot--come, let us rejoice in him. 시 66:7 He rules forever by his power, his eyes watch the nations--let not the rebellious rise up against him. Selah 시 66:8 Praise our God, O peoples, let the sound of his praise be heard; 시 66:9 he has preserved our lives and kept our feet from slipping. 시 66:10 For you, O God, tested us; you refined us like silver. 시 66:11 You brought us into prison and laid burdens on our backs. 시 66:12 You let men ride over our heads; we went through fire and water, but you brought us to a place of abundance. 시 66:13 I will come to your temple with burnt offerings and fulfill my vows to you-- 시 66:14 vows my lips promised and my mouth spoke when I was in trouble. 시 66:15 I will sacrifice fat animals to you and an offering of rams; I will offer bulls and goats. Selah 시 66:16 Come and listen, all you who fear God; let me tell you what he has done for me. 시 66:17 I cried out to him with my mouth; his praise was on my tongue. 시 66:18 If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened; 시 66:19 but God has surely listened and heard my voice in prayer. 시 66:20 Praise be to God, who has not rejected my prayer or withheld his love from me!
